Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
DISTRESS AMONG NATIONS
As I write these devotionals the news announced tonight that there were two huge asteroids passing between the Earth and the moon. It would not surprise me if we start seeing many more of these
type things in the future.
You can hardly pick up a newspaper without reading of some natural catastrophe occurring somewhere in the world. The television news is filled with these stories as well as with the wars and unrest through out the world.
There have been times of distress in the past. The World Wars, the world wide depression and many other times in past years and centuries have truly been times of distress. We are faced now with threats that the world has never known before. The terrorism, the utter hatred of the Jewish nation and the hate for Christianity are stronger now than any time I can remember.
I believe we should begin to look up. Surely our redemption is drawing near.
