PERILOUS TIMES 3

2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

WE CAN FACE PERILOUS TIMES BECAUSE GOD IS TAKING CARE OF US

Our God is a personal God who is interested in every one of us. He knows us by name, He knows what we are going through each day and each moment. God is aware even of the thoughts and intents in our hearts and minds. If we are not careful too often we look at God in an impersonal way as if He is watching the world as a whole but is not interested in us as individuals.

The Bible is filled with instances where God spoke to different individuals and He called them by name. When we are saved we become his children. Surely an almighty God knows each of His children on an intimate basis. When we are facing perilous times it will do us good to remember that not only is God aware of what we are going through but that He will give us the grace to face it if we just trust Him.

We are identified with Christ when we openly confess Him and we are bound together with a bond stronger than our earthly family. We are bound together by the blood of Jesus.

As we face perilous times, remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, {39} Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
