PEOPLE FAIL TO ACHIEVE VICTORY BECAUSE THEY ARE QUICK TO JUDGE OTHERS
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
It is easy for us to look at others and compare ourselves to them. We are much like the pharisee who thanked God that he was not like the publican. It gets even worse when we begin to quickly judge our Christian brothers and sisters.
Someone once said, "The Lord's army is the only one I have ever heard of who shoots it's own wounded." That may sound a little harsh but have you not witnessed it. A brother or sister in Christ stumbles and gets out of fellowship with God and instead of trying to help them we only criticize and talk about them.
We never really know what someone else is going through or what the circumstances are leading up to their situation. Instead of judging them we should be praying for them and encouraging them and most of all letting them know that we love them without reservation. Be very careful how you judge others. You never know when it will be you who is going through a similar situation.
We fail to have victory when we judge others too quickly and too harshly.
