Galatians 5:13-15 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. (14) For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. (15) But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
FREEDOM FOR BELIEVERS
True spiritual freedom is not the liberty do what you want to do. It is the freedom to do what you ought to do. We live in a nation that was built and founded upon those principles. If some people could do what they want to do it would be detrimental to the safety of others. When people do what they ought to do everyone benefits.
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are liberated or made free. We are free from the penalty of sin. We are free from the punishment for sin which is an eternity in hell. We are free from the power of sin because we should no longer be in bondage to it. Some day we will be free from the presence of sin because we will be with Jesus in our glorified body.
We as Christians need to learn to enjoy the liberty that we have. I receive a blessing from the next two devotionals on freedom.

Our prayers are that this devotional ministry will be an outreach to bring people into a closer relationship with Jesus. I do appreciate you taking the time to read these devotionals and please keep us in your prayers.
