WHY HE CAME 2

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

HE CAME TO BE THE SINNERS SUBSTITUTE

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep

God is perfect and He required a perfect sacrifice for the sins of man.  No man could be that sacrifice because no man can live above sin.

God is merciful and full of grace so He became a man and offered Himself, in the person of Jesus as a Sacrifice for our sins.  As complicated as it sounds it is really simple.

God loved us enough to provide a way of salvation for us that we could not provide for our self.  That way of salvation is through the fact that Jesus took our sins in His perfect body and took our punishment upon Himself.

We must believe and trust Him to save us.  We can't save ourselves.
