WHY HE CAME 1

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Satan is a thief and wants to rob you of your peace, your joy, and to kill your enthusiasm for serving God.  God is aware of our weaknesses and our frailty.  He knows that we can not possibly serve Him in our own power.  He sent us all the Help we need. Let us not forget why he came.

HE CAME TO MEET THE HUMAN NEED

Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

God is very aware of the needs of man and of man's nature to sin.  He has been a witness to man's fallen condition from the beginning.  Man can not redeem himself.  The only hope from man is to turn from his own devices and turn to God to receive His grace through the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
We can not save our self.  Jesus came because we needed a Savior.  I am thankful for that.
