WE NEED TO COOPERATE WITH OTHERS TO REBUILD
Nehemiah 2:17&18
"Then I said unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come , and (let us build up the wall of Jerusulalem) that we be no more a reproach.
vs. 18-Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the kings words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, (Let us rise up and build.) So they strengthened their hands for this good work.
As much as we would like to think we can sometimes, we can't do much by our self. Just like Nehemiah we need to enlist the help of others. There are many people who would love to get involved in helping others but they are not leaders and they just don't know what to do. If you see a need and and a way to minister to others don't be afraid to share that with others. It could be that they want to do something they just don't know what to do.
If you see a need you should tell others as Nehemiah did. You should let them know the situation and that you are wanting to do something about it. Then you should ask them to help. You may be the one who has to say "Let us rise up and...." do whatever it is that needs to be done.
