Mark 13:7-8 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. (8) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
.SEEK REFUGE FROM THE DISASTER
Deuteronomy 33:27 The eternal God
Many times with weather radar and such warning systems we will be warned way in advance of a storm or some other disaster that is going to come. We are always warned to seek shelter.
When I lived in Arkansas there were a lot of people who had storm shelters. I laughed and called the "Fraidy Holes". After riding out Hurricane Katrina while sitting in my car for about 6 hours because I was afraid a tree would fall on my house I have a new respect for storm shelters and some day I might have a "Fraidy Hole" myself.
It just makes good sense to seek refuge from a coming storm.
We might not always have a warning that a storm is coming in our spiritual life but we can always have a shelter in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Seek refuge... there is certainly a storm coming in the future.
CONCLUSION:
The greatest disaster you could ever have is to go out into eternity lost. You need to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
