SINFUL PARTERNERSHIPS
2co 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
We live in a society where almost one of two marriages end in divorce. I am sad to say that it is not just among the lost and unchurched that this happens. A Christian should never consider marrying a non-Christian. If you can not agree on how you are going to worship God how can you agree on the less important things in your life.
I have always said that the divorce rate is so high because people put less thought into who they are going to marry than into where they are going to work, where they are going to live, or even sometimes what kind of car they are going to drive.
I am a firm believer that God has someone special for everyone. Doesn't it seem strange that most people never even consult Him before they choose the person they say they want to spend the rest of their lives with?
These have been some hard devotionals to write because the deal with some difficult subjects but I felt that it is my responsibility to share what I believe God teaches and not just what everyone wants to read or hear. Pleas pray for me as I continue to write these devotionals.
