Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

God is giving us a command concerning idols. An idol is anything we put before God. Sometimes were put family, our jobs or work at home before God.

Many times we put off Bible study to spend time with family or to merely watch TV. We wait until just before bed time, when we are really too tired, to study our Bibles and pray.

It is important to set aside a special time to pray and study God's word. Throw down your idols and replace them with scripture and time with God.
