1 Peter 4:8-11 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. (9) Use hospitality one to another without grudging. (10) As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. (11) If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Someone once said that it is not our ability but our availability to serve God that is most important. I whole heartedly agree with that. I have known Sunday School teachers and some preachers with little or no formal education that God used in a great way.
If we have a great love for our Savior and a fervent love for our brothers and sisters in Christ as well as a burden for the lost we can be used regardless of our abilities. God will always equip us to do the work that he calls us to do if we will make ourselves available to Him.
The next few devotionals are devoted to encouraging you to allow God to enable you to minister to others. I hope you recieve a blessing from them.
Please feel free to contact me by email at shilohkosciusko@gmail.com with questions, comments or even suggestions for further devotional studies.
If you know of someone new to the Kosciusko area and would like for our church to visit them please let us know. Our prayers are that this devotional ministry will be an outreach to bring people into a closer relationship with Jesus. I do appreciate you taking the time to read these devotionals and please keep us in your prayers.
