John 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.
The first three commandments are about God. Here we see what we are to do for God. Jesus is talking to Peter, telling him what is wanted of him. It is the same thing he wants us to do -to follow Him.
We are to follow Him wherever He leads us or sends us. Later in Peter's life he had a great ministry. He did follow Jesus. Whatever God asks us to do, we must follow Him. trust that God will guide and direct you along the way.
Remember the song "I have decided to follow Jesus, No turning back, No turning back."
