WHO DO YOU SERVE?

Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Is your goal in life to please God or please man? Many times man will let you down, even our friends. God will never let us down. Sometimes even our closest friends and family will turn against us but God never will. People will talk about you, God wants to talk to you. The decision is yours whether you try to please God or those around you.

Jesus tells us in the book of Matthew that we can not serve two masters. I saw a church sign that said, "God wants full custody, Not just weekend visits." While attending church is a good habit it should be much more. We should come prepared to worship God. God truly wants you to receive the blessings He has to offer you.

Serving God and making Him your true Master is a matter of choice. We need to make the same committment to serve Him as Josuah did.

Joshua 24:15 ...but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
