GO AND TELL

By Jeremy Burkes
Mattew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
After we are saved, what do we do next? We are often guilty of missed opportunities. How many people have you told about Jesus?

Jesus paid for our salvation. He was crucified, buried, then rose again. He still lives and we need to share that with the world. Witnessing can be hard, but it is something we have been commanded to do. Jesus told His disciples in Matthew to go, I believe he intended that for His modern day followers too.
Most of us know someone who needs to know God. Most of us know people who have questions about spiritual things. They need answers, we have the answers in the Bible. We have the knowledge of Jesus and His plan of salvation. We need to go and tell others.
Fanny Crosby wrote the words "Rescue the perishing, Care for the dying, Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save."
That is a great message for us to share with a world that is truly perishing.
(We will not have a new devotional until Thursday)
