No Room For Jesus

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

I have often wondered about that inn keeper.  If he ever realized that he had caused the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to be born in a stable because he didn't have room for him in the inn. In today's world of advertising and capitalizing on every opportunity he would probably put up a neon sign proclaiming "Jesus Was Born Here".

With all the shopping, decorating, cooking and planning it seems like in many lives there is still no room for Jesus.  Fanatic groups are protesting manger scenes on public property and others are eliminating any mention of Christ during the season for fear they might offend someone.

It would be wise if people would make room for Jesus in their hearts today.  The day will come when
Php 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
