Proverbs 4:23-27 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. (24) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. (25) Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. (26) Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. (27) Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
INTRODUCTION:
In the confusion of today's world it seems that many people are just going in circles. People are unable to set their sights on a spiritual goal and pursue it. The Bible admonishes us to neither turn to the left or the right but to go straight.
The next few devotionals will deal with going straight toward the greatest goal we can pursue, the way to eternal life which is through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for widethe gate, and broad the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: {14} Because strait the gate, and narrow the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The way to eternal life is through Jesus Christ and there is no other way.
