COME WITH THANKSGIVING

by Jeremy Burkes

Psalm 95:2-3 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. (3) For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Are you thankful when you pray? Do you approach God with a thanksgiving in your heart? We have so much to be thankful for. God has answered so many of our prayers and blessed us in so many ways.
Too often when we pray we want instant results. We must realize that God doesn't work on our schedules. We are used to microwave popcorn, instant pudding and fast food. God is not in the pudding business, God works according to His own schedule.
When we pray we should pray with thanksgiving. Thankful for every blessing we've already received and thankful for every prayer God has answered in the past.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and a truly thankful heart.
