GOD'S SUPPLY AND OUR NEED 4

ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Remember the prophet's widow in 2 Kings 4 who only had a small bottle of oil, yet when she began to pour the oil in the vessels she had borrowed it kept pouring until she ran out of vessels. She had believed Elisha, the man of God.

Read the story over and think of the fact that if she had not run out of vessels the oil might still be running. She had her own oil well right there in her home.

The same is true of every need we have, physical, mental, and spiritual. God's supplies our need, not according to the natural resources but according to His riches in Glory.

I am a firm believer that we should be good stewards over the Earth. We should take care of our resources but the gloom and doom global warming crowd does not realize something very important. The Earth is going to last as long as God wants it to and the resources will last as long as He wants them to last. Aren't you glad that you don't have to worry about all that stuff because God is still in control.
