1ST Corinthinan 15:57-58 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Although we have victory through Jesus Christ we would not know it by the attitudes of some Christians. It is sad to see Christians living lives of despair, depression and sometimes utter defeat when it is all not necessary.
Unlike some preachers I am not going to claim that you will never have problems if you trust God. The sad truth is that bad things happen to good people and we are all going to face our share of trials and hardships.
Thankfully we can always be victorious because we have to Book, the Bible to tell us how things are going to come out. We will be victorious in the end, therefore we should try our best to have a victorious attitude every day. The next few devotionals will deal with why we sometimes fail to live victoriously. I hope you receive a blessing from them.
