MANY TODAY ARE FALLING PREY TO SATAN
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a [roaring lion], walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
HE WAS BADLY WOUNDED
We are always wounded by sin. Even if we feel that we might be getting away with sin in our life we must remember that sin has a built in penalty. It always causes us harm.
Sometimes it will leave us as helpless as the man on the side of the road. There are many who are wounded by sin and can do nothing for themselves.
We need to remember that Christ was wounded that we might be healed.
Isaiah 53:5 But hewounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace upon him; and with his [stripes] we are [healed].
Even though there is help and healing through Jesus Christ we must do as the Good Samaritan did and offer our help. Have you had the opportunity to be a Good Samaritan lately.
