Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
This verse puts a lot of things into perspective. There was nothing before God. He has always been. He is. He will always be.
Everything that is, exists because of Him. It should give all of us who belong to Him comfort to know that He is in complete control of all creation.
When you look through a telescope at the great expanse of the universe you know it is His will that holds it all together. When you look through a microscope at all the atoms and molecules that make up everything you know that it is Him that cause it all to work in harmony.
Our God is an Awesome God. Take a minute and meditate on His greatness, His majesty, His Holiness and rejoice in it.
