DON'T SELL YOURSELF CHEAP
Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the treegood for food, and that it pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Don't let the eyes fool you into looking at something and thinking it is worth more than you might realize you will have to pay for it. Did you ever notice the commercials on TV always advertise beer using exciting and fun looking attractive people to entice you. Satan will always say look how good it looks.
Satan does not show you the end result. You never see people on the advertisements with a hangover or see neglected families and broken homes. Satan paints a beautiful picture but it is all a lie.
That first step is the one that leads you the rest of the way. If you never take it, you will never have to search for the right path back.
Just because you are tempted, doesn't mean you might as well give in. When you are enticed into sin don't try to drag others in with you.
Thankfully the Bible also is filled with others who didn't sell out too cheap. I will cover them in the next devotional.
