THE MOUNTAIN OF COMMISSION
Matthew 28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
JESUS GAVE THEM THE GREAT COMMISSION
Mt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
This was not a mountain top suggestion but a commission to all believers.
We are to spread the gospel at home, in our communities, in our towns, in our country, and all over the world. It is a wonderful thing to support foreign missions but don't forget that we have mission work to do at home.
We have family members, co-workers, neighbors and friends who don't know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
That commission is for all of us and believe me, when we are successful at winning some lost soul to the Lord then it is the greatest mountain top experience that you will know in this life.
I hope you have many mountain top experiences as we all wait together for the Lord to come and take us home.
