1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Many people might think of lust of the flesh just as referring to sexual sins but it can be so much more. There are commercials on TV for weight loss, being healthy, and all manner of self improvement that says for just two easy payments you can be a better person.
Society has a pill for just about everything and people are looking for a quick fix to the problems in their lives.
The devil knows what our biggest weaknesses are and he will pound on them like a hammer on a nail. When we invite Jesus into our hearts to be our Savior the Holy Spirit moves in. The Holy Spirit is there to fight off the devil when he comes to tempt us.
If you let God fill the inside of your life, He will take care of the outside as well.
